Texas State Technical College Seeks Multiple Software Solutions

The higher-education institution has released solicitations for both a campus housing software solution and an identity theft platform.

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) has released multiple software solution proposal requests, including one for a campus housing software solution and another for an identity theft platform.

TSTC serves more than 16,000 students across 11 campuses throughout the state.

With request for proposals (RFP) No. 254, TSTC is seeking a three-year contract with a vendor that can provide a campus housing solution that is scalable, supports role-based access, enhances operational efficiency, improves communication with stakeholders and automates resource management processes.

Students who access the program must be able to apply for housing online, specify housing preferences, upload required documents, submit payments, view housing facilities and track the status of applications.

Administrators must be capable of modifying user accounts, schedule regular maintenance windows, manage API access and configure password policies.

According to RFP No. 257, TSTC requires an identity theft platform and comprehensive fraud resolution services.

The requested platform must alert affected users in real time via email, provide secure digital storage for sensitive information and connect affected users with trained fraud resolution specialists, legal consultants, financial coaches and certified public accountants.
