Texas Tech Health Center Seeks Fiber Installation Services

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center requires the furnishing and installation of all wiring and components to support data and voice systems in addition to multimode and single-mode fiber.

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for data communication system cable and fiber installation services.

Part of the Texas Tech University system, TTUHSC provides education, research development, patient care and community services programs to West Texas, which represents 50 percent of the state’s land mass and 11 percent of its population.

The center requires the furnishing and installation of all wiring and components to support data and voice systems in all offices, exam rooms and other facilities indicated by diagrams supplied in the RFP.

TTUHSC also requires the installation of multimode and single-mode fiber, patch panels and self-supporting floor racks in data/communications rooms.

TTUHSC plans to award a single vendor a contract term that expires on Aug. 31, 2025, with the option of two additional one-year renewal periods.
