Texas Workforce Commission Requests Visual Accessibility Solution

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has issued a request for offers (RFO) from vendors capable of providing a visual remote accessibility, orientation and interpretation services application or subscription services.

TWC prefers a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solution that can support blind or visually impaired staff and customers of TWC’s Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Division programs.

Software-as-a-service solutions must be hosted in the Texas Department of Information Resources Data Center Services.

At a minimum, the solution must include a free mobile app for Android and iOS, instant remote access to trained agents and 99.95 percent uptime.

The solution must also offer an English and Spanish visual interpreter, user access control and data collection capabilities.
