Tracking the Spend: DPS Spent $8M on IT Products and Services in April

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) spent $8 million in April, $1.4 million of which was spent on computer software.

The agency is responsible for the state’s law enforcement and driver’s license and ID administration. The department also conducts "major crime prevention operations along the international border with Mexico,” according to its website.
