Travis County has issued a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors to implement SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) for countywide usage.

According to the RFP, the county is looking to replace its current on-premise SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system with SAP SuccessFactors for more than 6,000 users and requires an implementation partner for “consulting, project management, system configuration, data conversion, interface development, implementation and knowledge transfer services for Employee Central under the core hybrid deployment option.”

The chosen respondent will be expected to migrate current HCM, organizational management and personnel administration processes and functions to EC, provide a secure HR system with self-service functionality, leverage SAP data replications and migrations, provide role-based access security, support organizational unit and position-based cost allocation, provide user-friendly real-time ad hoc reporting capabilities, and provide Travis County staff with the necessary training for system maintenance.

The respondent must also support configurable multilevel approval workflows and notifications for personnel actions, change requests, payment requests, changes to existing positions and creations of new jobs, positions or organizational units.

More detailed information about RFP No. 2311-008-LC, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. The deadline for proposals is 2 p.m. March 5. Lori Clyde is the point of contact for this RFP.
