The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) announced on Monday the launch of its MyTXCareer app, a free resource for Texans searching for career opportunities.

Available on iOS and Android devices, the MyTXCareer app provides “personalized occupation matches and recommended career paths based on [users’] skills, interests and experience,” according to a TWC press release.

MyTXCareer generates possible career paths based on user career goals, education, work experience, skills and a career personality quiz.

The app allows job seekers to view average salaries for a position, job demand and position descriptions for suggested occupations.

Users also have access to career resources and training provided by TWC through the application.
