The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has issued a request for offers (RFO) from qualified respondents capable of providing a web development and management solution for its child-care website (CCW).

TWC will choose a single respondent to design, develop and maintain a CCW that offers parents and child-care providers an accessible, easily navigable solution for locating child-care services.

The commission seeks a solution with a tool for locating child-care services offices across various devices, both mobile and desktop.

Users must have the ability to subscribe to email notifications and access linked TWC applications, external applications and statewide partners’ websites.

New content and existing TWC content that has been validated as current must be migrated successfully to the new CCW.

TWC has also requested single sign-on capabilities, an integrated chatbot application, automated feeds into Bing and/or Google, web services for database interaction, integration with SiteImprove and monthly operations monitoring.

The solution must support multiple languages: at a minimum, English, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Hewlett-Packard (HP) Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Octane must be utilized as a tool for visualization and backlog management.
