TWC Seeks Event Management and Registration Software Upgrade

The agency is seeking fully developed software that enhances user experience and handles a variety of functions including calendar scheduling, agenda and session builders, RFP management and report generation.

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has issued a request for offers (RFO) for a cloud-based event management and registration software solution.

The requested solution must be fully developed, provide an upgraded user experience to TWC’s current platform and meet current accessibility and cybersecurity standards.

TWC requires the solution to allow users to create and manage individual conferences and events and generate reports using integrated data analytics.

Key functions listed in the RFO include access via desktop and mobile platforms, a platform and attendee search function, predictive auto completion, multiple customizable calendar views, multiple user accounts with different permission levels, integration with Google Analytics, agenda and session builders, a seating chart manager, registration that includes QR codes and Apple and Android wallet pass integration, a mobile app that allows for attendee registration scanning, RFP management capabilities and more.

TWC also requires the chosen vendor to provide training, disaster recovery processes and annual testing.

Respondents must address cybersecurity requirements in their technical responses, such as privacy, information security management, continuous security monitoring, security governance controls, vulnerability and security assessments, fraud detection and data management.

An optional pre-offer conference has been scheduled for Jan. 5, the time for which has yet to be determined.
