The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has removed a vote from the July agenda but hasn’t yet confirmed the August agenda.
According to the report, the state had decided that in addition to the federally favored Combined Charging System (CCS), the Tesla charging standard, NACS, would also be required.
Last year, the Federal Highway Administration approved the agency’s EV Infrastructure Deployment Plan in a letter dated Sept. 27.
The state plan is posted at the TxDOT website.
