The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is shopping for a performance-based project prioritization solution for the agency and its transportation partners.

According to a request for offers (RFO), TxDOT requires a cloud-based software-as-a-service application that will help develop performance-based planning and programming processes in compliance with federal requirements. This includes “evaluation criteria, performance measures and targets and a project prioritization and selection process.”

The solution must be available for a minimum of 200 concurrent users, accessible through a web browser and compatible with Apple mobile devices.

The chosen vendor must provide technical support, including software maintenance, help desk support and upgrades, as well as training for TxDOT users via hands-on training, customized training for specific user groups and a web-based learning environment.

More detailed information about RFO No. 601440000044574, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Questions can be submitted via Bonfire until 5 p.m. Feb. 3. The due date for submissions is 3 p.m. Feb. 18. Sara Marquez is the point of contact for this solicitation.
