TxDOT Requests Vehicle Fleet Management Solution

The requested solution must manage five separate systems while also integrating with multiple TxDOT enterprise applications.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is searching for a web-based vehicle fleet management solution (FMS).

According to the agency’s request for offers (RFO), TxDOT requires a multifaceted solution that includes fleet maintenance management, automated fuel management, life cycle and replacement, motor pool vehicle reservation and global positioning systems.

The agency’s current solution, Fleet Navigator, is integrated with multiple TxDOT enterprise applications.

The requested system must manage work orders, in-house fuel transactions, a statewide motor pool reservation system, an asset life cycle program and a telematics provider solution that tracks equipment.

TxDOT expects the FMS to be integrated and operational by Aug. 31, 2026.
