TxDOT to Release Multiple Upcoming Solicitations

The agency has two pre-solicitation notices expiring in February, and a third in March.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has plans to release multiple solicitation notices in the coming months, ranging from advisory services to management solutions.

TxDOT has two pre-solicitation notices expiring in February:
A third pre-solicitation notice from the agency, expiring March 17, includes a request for hosting, maintenance and support services for the TxDOTConnect letting system.

TxDOT’s strategic plan for 2025-2029 lists an expected $211 million in expenditures for technology upgrades and $127 million for information systems modernization.

House Bill 1 lists $28.3 million for tech upgrades and $36.3 million for systems modernization in the agency’s capital budget for 2025. In its Fiscal Year 2026-27 legislative appropriations request, the agency requested an additional $26 million in capital funding.
