Siddhi Nim has been named the new director of information technology for the University of Texas at Austin.
Nim most recently served as IT manager for identity and access management at Texas Health and Human Services, a role she held for more than three years. Her state service also includes time as business analyst manager for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and senior business analyst with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Her appointment marks a return to UT Austin, where she previously worked as a lead business analyst in the university’s IT division.
Earlier in her career, Nim held business analysis and project management roles in both the public and private sectors, including work at the State Bank of India, IndiLogic and the Canadian bank TD.
Nim holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2021.
