UT Austin Seeking Data Management Services for Athletics

The proposed platform must be capable of scaling to the growing demands of the university’s athletics department and safely storing complex programmatic queries.

The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for data storage and management services.

According to the RFP, UT Austin is seeking “a comprehensive analytics solution capable of storing, querying, cleansing, securing and integrating data ... for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.”

The selected vendor will provide data integration services, client support, a data connection monitoring platform, master data management, Salesforce integration and a client viewable documentation repository.

UT Austin is open to vendor-proposed storage systems, such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure or other options.
