The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a website architecture revision and wireframe implementation.

The university’s Office of the Dean of Students requires a review and content audit of its website and all associated public pages. The selected contractor will be expected to conduct audience research for the purpose of creating a new website architecture, which will require user testing and further revisions.

UT Austin has also requested the creation of page wireframes based on content needs, which too will require user testing and revision.

The restructured website will require both mobile and desktop optimization and must meet UT Austin’s and the state of Texas’ accessibility requirements.

UT Austin is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System, and, according to the RFP, hosts more than 50,000 students as well as 24,000 faculty and staff members.

More detailed information about RFP No. 721-24017, including all minimum requirements and additional submission instructions, can be found online. A virtual pre-proposal meeting will be held on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. The deadline for question submissions is Nov. 7. The due date for proposals is Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m. Darla Stewart is the point of contact for this RFP.
