UT Dallas Seeks Housing Software Solution

The requested software must handle work orders, appointment scheduling, billing and room assignments through an online portal.

The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a comprehensive software solution that can address its housing operations.

The requested solution must include the following functions:
  • An online application portal
  • Occupancy management features
  • A work order maintenance and housekeeping system
  • A student employment portal
  • A conference portal
  • A report generator
  • Communication capabilities
The online portal should handle applications, work orders and request forms. The student-facing portal should include roommate matching and self-selection for rooms.

The software will also require cloud infrastructure, modules for maintenance and housekeeping, an appointment scheduler, automated billing tools, automation tools, automatic room assignments, data import and export features, package tracking, wait list management and more.

The chosen vendor must complete the solution’s installation within two months, provide onsite training for university staff and assign a dedicated support staff member to address troubleshooting requests.
