The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) is searching for an enterprise privacy monitoring software solution for auditing protected information access reviews.
UTHSCSA is the largest academic research institution in South Texas, boasting an annual operating budget of $1.46 billion.
The center’s Institutional Compliance and Privacy Office requires real-time auditing software for detecting and alerting the university to unauthorized access of patient medical information.
The solution must be capable of importing raw records from Epic, providing historical data, using automated algorithms to access customizable rules, detecting the modification of records and scaling to ensure historical investigation data availability.
An intuitive user dashboard, real-time alerts and customizable tags for identifying user types are also required.
The chosen vendor is expected to implement the requested software and provide training, post-implementation maintenance and other professional services.
Proposers must have a TX-RAMP Level II Certification from the Department of Information Resources to qualify for contract execution.
