Water Development Board Seeks Interactive Data Dashboard

The Texas Water Development Board requires a web-based data dashboard for communicating anticipated geospatial data findings from an upcoming study.

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), which oversees water planning and financing for the state, is searching for a vendor capable of creating a web-based interactive data dashboard for geospatial data.

According to a request for qualifications (RFQ), TWDB requires “a visually engaging interactive data dashboard to effectively communicate the findings derived from a Brackish Resources Aquifer Characterization System (BRACS) study.”

The proposed solution must enhance user engagement through interactive features, create clickable maps for exploring content information, integrate multimedia elements and include informational pop-up windows.

The chosen vendor will be required to conduct workshops with TWDB, initiate development with a kickoff meeting, conduct testing across various devices, provide troubleshooting services and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

According to the RFQ, the maximum total project cost will not exceed $150,000.
