Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a cloud phone system, as well as migration and implementation services.

WSA is a governing board for the 13-county Alamo region workforce system serving Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina and Wilson counties.

The requested solution will replace WSA’s on-prem phone system with a scalable, cloud-hosted alternative that supports a mix of physical endpoints, laptop-based softphones and a smartphone mobile app.

Minimum requirements include compatibility with WSA’s existing Cisco 7800 and 8800 series phones, cloud-based faxing, call recording, call detail records, a dedicated connection option, E911 compliance, an omnichannel communication option, a call center application, analog device connectivity and the porting of up to 1,200 DID numbers from WSA's existing on-prem PSTN provider.

WSA will also require training for all employees.
