California State University, East Bay is seeking to partner with an IT service management provider in upcoming projects for the university's IT Service Management Re-engineering (ITSMR) program.

"This is a blanket purchase order for ITIL process consultation and ServiceNow Technical Support Services to help us progress in the ITSMR program. The selected vendor is expected to assess [several] processes/modules, and have an ITIL-based functional solution and technical design to be implemented in the current tool, ServiceNow," the university explained its its bid invitation.

The goals of the ITSMR project are to facilitate a "culture shift" in IT service delivery and improve how IT service delivery is measured, monitored and reported.
