CHP Commissioner Joseph A. Farrow
CHP Commissioner Joseph A. Farrow will give a keynote speech at the Veterans’ Day "Giving Back to Veterans" Golf Tournament on Nov. 11 at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif.
Farrow commands the fifth largest law enforcement agency in the nation. He was appointed to the position in 2008 by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and reappointed in 2011 by Gov. Jerry Brown.
Sacramento-based Enterprise Networking Solutions, Inc. (ENS-Inc) is the tournament and event host.
"In our third year of this golf tournament we wanted to reach out again to our law enforcement community and partners, and they heeded the call," said Chad Hodges, ENS-Inc. vice president of business development. "Commissioner Farrow participating in this year’s golf tournament symbolizes the commitment our leaders in the State of California have to ensuring our veterans have access to information and resources. We look forward to hearing more about what the California Highway Patrol is doing with regards to these efforts."
Golf begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start with lunch catered by Sandra Dee’s Bar-B-Que after the round. All proceeds from this event will go toward helping veterans with disabilities, as well as mental health and family services for them and their love ones.
Tax-free donations will be accepted and tournament organizers also are seeking corporate sponsors.
