Mikhail Zinshteyn has been a higher-education reporter since 2015. Previously, he was a reporter at EdSource and before that a program manager at the Education Writers Association. Zinshtey, based in Los Angeles, was born in the Soviet Union and has a master’s degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics.
