A trove of data encompassing 650,000 public-sector positions and $32 billion in wages from 2014 has been added to http://www.publicpay.ca.gov/, State Controller Betty T. Yee announced Wednesday.
The newly published data includes almost 241,000 positions in 150 state departments; 275,000 positions in 10 UC institutions and the UC President’s Office; almost 114,000 positions in 23 CSU institutions and the CSU Chancellor’s Office; and about 20,000 positions in 58 Superior Courts.
Users of the website can view compensation levels by region, search the data by entity or job title, and more.
Yee added that in the next few months, 2014 salary data for community college districts, city and county government, special districts and other entities will be uploaded.
