“As these organizations invest in digital transformation, whether online learning or automated workflows, more and more data becomes available, but deriving insights from that data is challenging,” Kelly told Industry Insider — California. “I help business leaders activate a true data culture and realize the full potential of their applications and data so that everyone in the organization can make data-informed decisions.”
Taking over the California SLED market for Alation, Kelly said his short-term goal is “to meet with as many agencies as possible to learn about each organization’s unique challenges, which will uncover larger industry trends.”
He added: “In the long term, my goal is to build strong and reliable partnerships with the departments and agencies in the California SLED market, as well as gain a stronger grasp of what technologies this industry leverages to ensure that Alation’s extensible data intelligence platform delivers on its promise to be adopted by everyone in an organization.”
Kelly previously was a senior account executive with MuleSoft, a SLED enterprise account executive with Skydio, a strategic account executive with Axon and a technology account executive with Oracle.
He is a graduate of Texas State University, where he was active in the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
