Amira Menoufy Takes Reins as Delegata’s New President

Delegata, a longtime Sacramento-based IT and management consulting firm, has named Amira Menoufy the new president.

She succeeds Kais Menoufy, who founded the company in 2000 and who has served as president and chief executive until last week, when he named Amira Menoufy, his daughter, to the president role. He will remain as CEO.

She is very well-positioned to help Delegata evolve in its next phase of growth.”

“Kais Menoufy will focus on strategy, innovatio, and client relationships in his CEO role,” the release says. “He will work closely with Amira and the Delegata leadership team to build upon Delegata’s solid foundation for continued growth. The Delegata Leadership Team includes Jacque Silver, Tony Appleby, Moe Huss and Christina Bria. This team brings a wealth of industry expertise to Delegata and its clients and will provide strategic counsel and oversight on delivery excellence, as well as lead operations and business development efforts.”

Delegata specializes in services for the public sector, including program and project management, strategic planning, organization transformation, data, analytics, business intelligence, enterprise architecture and custom solutions. Key clients in state government include the California High-Speed Rail Authority, the California Department of Transportation, the California State Transportation Agency, the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, the California Department of Technology, the California Department of Insurance, the State Controller’s Office, the Employment Development Department, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the California Department of Justice and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Amira Menoufy joined Delegata over 22 years ago and has led internal and external teams as the company has garnered more than 70 leadership awards in partnership with clients. Before joining Delegata, Ms. Menoufy worked for Silicon Valley technology companies, including Lucent Technologies, BroadVision, Betasphere and Siebel Systems.

She earned her bachelor of science in management and organizational analysis from Santa Clara University and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the University of California, Davis.
