SAP — which according to California ControllerJohn Chiang fumbled the $90 million MyCalPays payroll system — has announced some changes at the top along with a possible business makeover.
SAP’s tech chief Vishal Sikka abruptly resigned several weeks ago, and this week Bill McDermott will become sole CEO as former co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe steps down.
The company recently acquired two cloud service providers and is transitioning to deliver services online. McDermott has been a top executive at Xerox, Gartner and Siebel.
