The county is hiring its next IT director for public safety and justice and will be hosting a learning session with the hiring team Wednesday.

The county of Santa Clara is hosting a learning session for candidates interested in its open position, the director of IT for public safety and justice.

The one-hour “relaxed discussion” with the hiring team will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from noon-1 p.m., and will cover details about the role and the type of leader they’re looking for.

"We are searching for a visionary IT leader to shape the future of our public safety and justice technology ecosystem. As director, you will lead a multi-faceted team of technical experts and work in close collaboration with county stakeholders to modernize critical infrastructure. If you are energized by complex challenges, passionate about cross-departmental partnership and ready to transform how the county leverages technology to protect and serve our public, we want you leading this next chapter," County CIO Ameen Moslehi said in the invitation.
