California’s transportation departments are seeking tech solutions. Here are three RFPs from the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles.

An RFP released in late August by the Department of Motor Vehicles invites vendors to bid on a maintenance contract for the Stockton and Van Nuys offices' closed-circuit television software and hardware.

The contract includes software update requirements as necessary. The vendor will also clean and reposition hardware as necessary.

The RFP closes on Sept. 7.

Another late-August DMV RFP seeks DVD authoring services. The department wants professional-grade software or hardware to transfer digital files to DVD and Blu-Ray storage. The files will come from a DMV master tape.

Responses are due by Sept. 8.

The DMV is also looking for a technical consultant to standup the Thomson Reuters Elite ProLaw software. The contract will require someone to migrate data from Mitratech TeamConnect and all administrative programs. It will also include training on the database.

The RFP closes Sept. 12.
