Due June 2: Best of California Award Nominations 2015

The Center for Digital Government is seeking nominations for its annual awards program for IT professionals in California state and local government and education organizations.

Nominations for the Best of California Awards 2015 must be made by public-sector officials, executives or staff. The judges’ panel is comprised of state CIOs and Center for Digital Government executives. For more information and the entry form, visit: www.govtech.com/cdg/bestofca2015.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to June 2, 2015.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Leadership – Demonstrated Excellence in Project Management
• Best Data Analytics/ Business Intelligence Project (New category)
• Best Application Serving an Agency’s Business Needs
• Best Application Serving the Public
• Best IT Collaboration Among Organizations
• Best In-House Developed Application
• Most Innovative Use of Social Media/ Citizen Engagement
• Best Mobile/Wireless Project

The winners will be recognized at an awards reception during The California Technology Forum on Aug. 13, 2015, at the Sheraton Grand hotel in Sacramento.
