The California Department of Technology has opened the application window for the sixth iteration of its four-week virtual Emerging IT Leaders Boot Camp.
The program is designed to enhance the leadership skill set of entry-level public-sector IT supervisors and managers — classified as IT Supervisors I or II — in state government, as well as in cities and counties.
"The Emerging IT Leaders Boot Camp is important for cultivating California's future IT leaders," said Crystal Holcomb, deputy director for CDT’s Office of Professional Development, in a press release. "Through its focused curriculum, expert-led sessions and practical tools, participants can gain applicable skills immediately. The four-week virtual format ensures high-impact, accessible and cost-effective professional development across the state."
The upcoming boot camp will run from Sept. 21 to Oct. 16, and registration for the 20 spots is available on a first-come, first-served basis. More information about the program and associated costs is available on CDT’s workforce development website.
