Speakers will be Chris Cruz, chief deputy director of the CDT and deputy state CIO; and Angela Shell, deputy director of the Procurement Division of the state Department of General Services.
The forum is intended to provide vendors with information, as well as an opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and provide feedback on the information provided. The CDT held a similar event in September for IT as well as telecom.
The spring event will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. May 9 at the California Lottery Building, 700 N. 10th St., Sacramento. Companies are invited but are asked to limit their attendance to two people, as space is limited. The forum will be recorded and made available for those who are not able to attend.
Techwire will also be in attendance and will provide comprehensive coverage.
