“Joining Celonis combines all my experiences over the last 20 years from consulting, government finance, delivery, and sales,” Fellows told Industry Insider California. “It’s the perfect company for me, and to work with some very talented folks building our public-sector practice was an opportunity I did not want to miss.”

Fellows added: “Every organization is adjusting business processes to a hybrid model and doing more with less people. Celonis allows an organization to maximize a customer’s existing applications and help ensure best business processes in your modernization efforts.”

Fellows has held a series of increasingly responsible roles, most recently as Microsoft’s client director for state and local government. Before that, he had held executive and management roles with Oracle, Natoma Technologies, CGI-AMS, EA Consulting and American Management Systems.

“We are so pleased to have Mark Fellows join our growing team and to take all of his experience and knowledge and apply it to building the best sales, partner and delivery team in government for our customers across the country,” said Colin Wardlaw, Celonis’ vice president for public sector. “Mark is a proven leader that any organization would want to have. We are fortunate to work together again now at Celonis.” Wardlaw and Fellows worked together at Oracle.

Fellows is an alumnus of Brigham Young University, where he earned his master’s degree in public finance.
