City Innovate Names Fitzgerald to Account Exec Role

City Innovate has named Molly Fitzgerald to the role of account executive for California state government. The company specializes in procurement, contracts, grants and budgeting.

Fitzgerald, a 10-year technology professional based in El Dorado Hills, told Industry Insider — California that she is “super excited to join a GovTech 100 company.”

With previous professional affiliations including Microsoft, Oracle and UiPath, she said, “My goal is to bring a unique perspective to the ‘Where’s my spend’ visibility challenge that many state and local government agencies face.” City Innovate’s public-sector clients include departments in state government.

Fitzgerald explained why she chose to join the company: “After four years in the Robotic Process Automation space, I saw a massive opportunity with City Innovate with their Document Process Automation solution, helping state agencies and departments streamline their procurement process in order to make smart data-driven decisions on their spend — which is critical in 2024.”

Tracey Reliford, City Innovate’s regional sales director, lauded Fitzgerald’s experience and skills.
