Comcast has named Joe Bell as the new area vice president for the South Valley, the company announced Tuesday. Bell will work within Comcast’s California Technical Operations group.
Bell will be overseeing all aspects of Comcast’s operations in the South Valley, including Fresno, Merced, Visalia, Santa Maria and North Santa Barbara areas. He recently served as the senior director of technical operations for the Big South region. In that role, Bell was responsible for the day-to-day operations in Central and Southern Mississippi, Louisiana and Southern Alabama.
Bell replaces Jeff Votaw, who recently transferred to Sacramento to serve as area vice president for the Sacramento Valley.
Bell studied Business Management at Michigan State University and Eastern Michigan University.
