Like all CWDS contracts, the project was broken into tasks to be completed by a preapproved vendor over a specific period of time. This $661,500 contract included 18 tasks from zero artifacts and planning to software implementation. The module will run from Jan. 18 to April 12, with up to six optional 12-week extensions.
The next anticipated module will be a courts processing software that integrates with the project's other software and allows welfare professionals to automate generation, submission and records for legal notices and court reports. The bid is estimated to be awarded in March 2018. Previous RFOs have been open for about a month.
The next CWDS contract is slated to begin on Oct. 16, 2017, and run through Oct. 15, 2018. The contract offers agile coaching services to CWDS employees.
