CWDS Product Vision and Implementation Progress

Child Welfare Digital Services has been making progress as the state's largest agile procurement and development program.

Child Welfare Digital Services (CWDS) has been making progress as the state's largest agile procurement and development program. Tuesday, CWDS held four meetings to share portions of that progress.

At the CWS/CMS Oversight Committee Meeting, Digital Services Director Kevin Gaines discussed the product vision, which includes five pillars. Those five pillars are:

  • Access to the right information at the right time
  • Collaboration
  • Data collection and presentation
  • Business intelligence services
  • Freedom from the legacy system
The slides from the presentation can be seen here.

Two sprint reviews were also held to analyze how the case management and implementation components have been progressing. Each module has sprint reviews on a regular schedule to share information with other teams and publicly with stakeholders.

The Case Management review slides can be seen here.

The Implementation review slides can be seen here.

A CALS sprint review also took place but slides are not yet available.
