The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a chief (IT Manager I) in the IT Contracts and Procurement Branch. The incumbent, according to the job posting, will be responsible for the procurement and processing of department IT contracts and IT interagency agreements including solicitation development, contract administration, contract management and all financials in support of IT contracts.

The Employment Development Department (EDD) is recruiting for a cloud application architect (IT Specialist III) to design and implement cutting-edge cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, resilience and security across platforms like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

According to the job posting, the architect will “develop cloud network solutions that integrate with existing enterprise applications, design microservices architectures and manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines. Your role will involve close collaboration with IT staff and business units to translate business needs into reliable cloud-based architectures, contributing to our strategic goals.”

Desirable qualifications include:
  • Experience in designing, deploying and managing networks in the cloud using major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
