The California State Controller’s Officeis seeking a section chief (IT Manager I) with a technical and management background and experience to oversee planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the work of the Technology Advocacy Section (TAS).
The incumbent will be responsible, through second-level managers, for the daily operations of the SCO Service Desk (SSD), Audits Service Desk (AUDSD) and Unclaimed Property Service Desk.
“All units are responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, supporting and implementing enhancements to SCO’s current information technology related to end-user device solutions,” the job posting says. Duties of the position, according to the duty statement, include:
