Danetta Jackson, Department of General Services (DGS) small business and disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE) program manager, has been honored with the "Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year Award" by the U.S. Small Business Administration, DGS announced on Monday.
The award is presented annually in each state to individuals who have advanced small business opportunities for veterans of the U.S. armed forces.
Jackson has worked for the Department of General Services since 1988, according to her LinkedIn page.
