Customers making an online appointment at the California Department of Motor Vehicles can now search multiple field offices simultaneously for available dates and times.
Previously customers had to search each individual DMV office to locate available appointments, the department said.
With the new timesaving appointment system, users can make an appointment at their desired DMV office and see appointment options at surrounding offices at a glance.
"We understand that your time is valuable and by offering this enhancement system, we hope this will better meet the needs of your busy schedule," said DMV Director Jean Shiomoto. "Our goal is to allow you to find the most suitable appointment as quickly and conveniently as possible."
Through the online appointment system, visitors can schedule behind-the-wheel driving tests, apply for and renew a driver’s license and ID card, register a vehicle title, and more.
