Today is the deadline to turn in nominations for the second-annual State Fair Champion of Technology awards, which will be presented at the fair’s annual gala on June 25.
This year the State Fair will select two technology champions — an individual and a project — “for remarkable contributions to California’s technology industry.” The awards are open to California residents, or businesses headquartered in California.
Nomination forms and supporting documents for the Champion of Technology Awards must be emailed by Friday, March 20, 2015, to:

Last year’s inaugural Champion of Technology award was given to Dr. Robert Tse, a community planning and development specialist with USDA Rural Development.
