Enterprise Architecture Developer Beth Haught Joins Kiefer Consulting

Enterprise architecture systems developer Elizabeth Haught joined Kiefer Consulting as a principal consultant starting Dec. 1.

Haught has more than three decades of IT experience, including more 25 years of architecture experience. She has set up new enterprise architecture programs for many organizations, including the California CIO, and has developed strategic architectures, segment architectures and large-scale solution architectures for the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), Boeing and Siemens.

Haught most recently was a senior business for the California State Teachers Retirement System and provided data architecture support to the California Department of Insurance. She has worked for a wide range of organizations, including the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System, California Department of Public Health and the California Earthquake.

Haught has developed enterprise architecture repositories and portals using SharePoint for the California CIO, California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and California Correctional Health Care System (CCHCS), and has developed Enterprise Requirements Management repositories using SharePoint for CCHCS and Board of Equalization (BOE). Elizabeth also used SharePoint to support an Enterprise Data Architecture governance initiative.

She began her career in 1980 as a software engineer for General Electric and later as a manager for Siemens PLM Software.
