California’s FI$Cal Department is rolling more state departments onto its statewide accounting, budget and procurement system today.

Transitioning departments from their previous accounting and procurement systems is taking place over the course of three years. Each rollout includes a dry run, dress rehearsal and transition period. The dry runs began in mid-May.

The entire system has been shut down for several days as the new departments are added, and will go live today at noon.

University of Fi$Cal, a learning management system formerly known as the FI$Cal Training Academy, offers onboarding and training for the system to prepare each department’s change management team.

About 35 departments under six agencies were scheduled to go live at noon today.

These are the agencies included:

  • Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency
  • Education Agency
  • Department of General Services
  • Legislative, Judicial and Executive Agency
  • Health and Human Services Agency
  • Natural Resources Agency
