The state Office of Systems Integration (OSI) is looking for project managers, procurement analysts, strategic planners and attorneys — and, as of last week, a new director.
And for job-seekers, the application process is getting easier, as the California Department of Human Resources is revamping its website.
OSI Director John Boule, who has led the department since February 2014, announced last week that he’ll be leaving Dec. 22 to become executive director of the California Automated Consortium Eligibility System (CalACES). No successor has been announced.
In addition to Boule’s position, OSI has numerous other openings, including IT Competitive Procurement Analyst, Senior IT Project Management Analyst, IT Senior Procurement and Contract Management Supervisor and Assistant Project Director. These and other openings, as well as information about job exams, are available on the OSI website, osicagovjobs.com/job-openings.
In addition to the streamlined application process, the state is also simplifying its job classifications, as reported last week in Techwire. CalHR plans to submit an Information Technology classification package to the State Personnel Board for its December agenda.
