FTB Seeks ‘Restart Control’ Software Maintenance Contractor

The Franchise Tax Board, the state’s tax collection agency, is seeking a vendor to manage “application restart control software maintenance.”

The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) has put out a call for a vendor to supply software maintenance services for BMC Software Inc.’s Automated Mainframe Intelligence (AMI) platform.

The request for quotation, released July 26, seeks a vendor to supply “BMC AMI Application restart control software maintenance.” No other information was provided through the state’s procurement system or the accompanying package documents.

FTB is the state’s tax collection agency with program areas that include filing, collections, audits, technology and legal. 

Key dates for this solicitation are as follows:
  • Aug. 1 is the last day to submit questions
  • Aug. 2 is the last day to protest requirements
  • Aug. 9 is the final supplier quote due date
  • Aug. 12 is the evaluation review cutoff
  • Aug. 19 is the notice of intent to award date
  • Aug. 26 is the contract award date
  • Sept. 1 is the commencement of services date
