The Governor's Office and the Office of Data and Innovation (ODI) are calling on solution providers to submit an Intent to Showcase for the upcoming Innovation Showcase in November.

The showcase is being held in partnership with the California Breakthrough Project and the Governor’s Innovation Fellows.

Companies interested in participating in the Nov. 4 showcase must submit a proposal that is no longer than two pages, including the challenge to be met, company qualifications and details about the proposed solution.

The three challenge statements are:
  • Reducing Duplicative Efforts Through a Shared Knowledge Bank
  • Streamlining California's Regulatory Framework
  • Enhancing Candidate-Job Matching for California State Employment
Finalists will be selected to give 15-minute demonstrations of their tools based on how well they address the challenge statement. Ten-minute question-and-answer sessions will follow each presentation.

Email submissions are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 27. Companies will be notified of their selection by 5 p.m. Oct. 29. More information about the application process, challenges and showcase is available here.
