The ideal candidate for the Director of Business Development role has experience in B2B technology and SaaS sales, and will have the know-how to prospect for leads, develop them through a sales cycle and close contracts for GovTech Navigator — the only sales intelligence tool focused exclusively on the $100 billion-plus state and local gov tech market. Businesses that sell or are looking to sell to government subscribe to Navigator for its in-depth intelligence about technology spending, opportunity identification, developing opportunities, jurisdictions and buyer contact information in states, local governments and educational institutions.
Your primary mission is to create new business opportunities and to close business. We're looking for an individual with a proven track record in enterprise software sales for applications aimed at sales and marketing who can hit the ground running.
