Here Are CDT’s Top Purchases of IT Goods in November

The California Department of Technology’s top five most expensive purchases of IT goods in November totaled nearly $2.5 million and included the acquisition of software support.

The state technology agency made 26 purchases of IT goods in November and spent nearly $2.5 million in just its top five expenditures.

Month-to-month, these figures reflected a slight decline from October, when the California Department of Technology (CDT) made 31 purchases of IT goods and spent more than $7 million on its top five buys. Last month, CDT spent exactly $2,474,784.65 on its five largest purchases. Here, with rounding, is where that money went:

  • $1.1 million to Dell Marketing LP for “VMWare Subscription Purchasing Program Credits VMWare Cloud Credits/Points Portal with 1 Year Expiration.” This is a one-year contract that began Nov. 2 and ends Nov. 1, 2021.
