The chief technology innovation officer (CTIO) is a high-level executive leadership role reporting to the CHSRA’s chief information officer. This position is responsible for setting strategic direction and establishing standards for the integration of advanced operational technologies with core information systems that support CHSRA. A key part of the role involves leading enterprisewide digital transformation initiatives, including the development of a common data environment, implementation of digital engineering practices and adoption of generative AI technologies that align with ethical guidelines and CHSRA’s mission.

In addition to shaping innovation strategy, the CTIO manages the Solutions Delivery and Data and Digital Integration branches within the IT Office. This includes oversight of staff and operations, establishing performance expectations, and ensuring compliance with state policies.
