Homeland Security Plans Satellite Office in Silicon Valley

According to various media reports, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced Tuesday the department plans to open a satellite office in Silicon Valley in order improve coordination with tech companies.

Jeh’s comments came during an address at the RSA Conference in San Francisco.

The federal government appears to be adding more resources in California to deter and investigate cyber threats.
